Cookin’ Is Like Love … Sharing Recipe For

LEMON PINEAPPLE PIE

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 tsp.salt
  • 3 egg yolks beaten
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Small can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 2 cups sweet milk

     Add the three beaten egg yolks to the sugar.  Blend egg yolks together, thoroughly.  Add the remaining ingredients.  Mix everything well.  Put mixture in a double boiler and cook until the mixture is thick.  Then, place the mixture in a 9-inch baked pie shell; and refrigerate mixture for one hour, before serving.
